Michael, I have a lot of experience riding buses in the evening. Anything strange always freaks me out more in such circumstances. If I had come upon a bus shelter that appeared to be smeared with blood, I would have worried. Why no police tape? I might have even called the transit police, wasting their resources. A good event leaves no trace behind.

I think the bus drivers take it all in stride. It comes with the terror-tory this time of year. I’d enjoy a bit more time to march next year, to give more time to interact with the norms. There was a cute moment when I passed by some parents with a toddler holding a plastic axe. I snarled and held out my arm for the kid to hack at, and I lurched away, leaving the parents with broad smiles on their faces. I wanted to do more but I had to be sure to be at the theater on time. As it was, I was stuck so long in the beer line I didn’t get a seat until after the flick started…

Did the zombies clean the blood off the bus shelter as the evening wound down? Was the RideOn bus driver OK with having his/her bus “attacked”?
It sounds like fun, but “first, do no harm”.

BTW we actually had 3 cop cars… I didn’t see the last one.
