There were no eggs at the Blair Shops Giant on Sunday as well. They were also short on organic milk, but not on regular milk (they had tons of that). I believe this to be a conspiracy.

On Saturday around noon I had to drive to DC and back (it really was important stuff.) Not a lot of people were on the road, but those that were on the road were handling the driving with no problems. All went smoothly, until I hit 16th and Colesville. What a debacle. It was like every clueless twit on a beer run with a Toyota, Honda, or Hyundai went on the road at the same time.

On Sunday evening Safeway still hadn’t plowed their parking lot. Today, I guess it was plowed, but very poorly.

NoGnusIsGoodGnus, haven’t you heard the Washington Area Snowstorm Warning Legend? About how everyone mobs the stores to get bread, milk, eggs and toilet paper? Like they were participating in a French-toast-a-thon? I was at Whole Foods on Fri. evening, and everyone was buying everything. I got the last bag for bulk coffee.
About the Arliss Giant, it has recently been remodeled, and has a great selection of stuff. I liked that store before, and I love it now. Hopefully the egg outage was purely storm-related.

I’m just concerned that this snowstorm may have delayed some time sensitive projects like the Hook & Ladder Brew Pub, the Filmore Music thingy, and the Transit Center. We wouldn’t want them to be behind schedule, would we? Oh.

Z-11 Express Bus was not running this morning, making the Z-8 way packed. Not to bad tho, made it from Briggs Chaney to Discovery blng in about 30mins.
