Local shutterbug Ray Fudge snapped this autumnal image Saturday afternoon, just as torrential rains gave way to a clear October evening. The scene: outside Summit Hills, a cluster of apartment buildings off 16th Street and East-West Highway.

Lovely photo, Ray.
Very nice! The leaves really do seem to be at their prettiest right now…Everything’s so bright, and some of the trees are still a little green on the inside…!
I was going to ask if there was a Flickr group/pool for us Springians… But I did my two seconds of research and found out there was one…! So that’s exciting and (only slightly) off topic.
I might pull together a Flickr “Gratuitous Shot” pool for anyone who’d like to contribute photos.
