This Weekend

Good news: That darling of the newsroom, our beloved Penguin intern, returns from his week at summer camp!

We can’t wait to hear of his adventures — the prank coffee runs pulled on junior interns, drunken softball games in the rain and mud, and sightings of the legendary Lost Intern, who haunts the woods around Camp Runamok. Too cool!

While the newsroom basks in our intern’s tales, please enjoy Silver Spring’s other pursuits:

Something goingon at the Cissel-Saxon Post on Fenton tonight too – first time I’ve ever seen a crowd or activity there – says “DC Blues Fest” on a banner but a street sign says “fish fry”
