The Silver Spring Penguin

Feeling frisky from the pleasant weather, The Penguin tech crew decided to rearrange the virtual furniture.

Yep, they did it again — dropped in a new layout just to screw with the newsroom’s hive mind. But with half of Silver Spring at the shore, and the other half still sitting in Bay Bridge traffic, I figure no one will notice.

7:30 p.m. The advocacy group Action Committee for Transit offers a primer on the Purple Line mass-transit project. Hit it at the Silver Spring Center (8818 Georgia Ave). It’s free and open to the public.
