Yeesh! That’s a lot of violence for one week, especially considering that it all happened during business hours with plenty of witnesses around (although the church assault guy sounds like he was deranged).
Please note: These crimes happened over a two-week period.
One week, two weeks– either way, it’s pretty scary to have broad-daylight assaults like this. Police appear to making arrests in many cases, which is encouraging, but clearly more prevention measures are needed. And with the state of MoCo’s finances, we’re going to have to be an extra-squeaky wheel if we want to get anything done.
Apparently my mother was right– I live in the ghetto, and it’s imperative that I snatch up my family and return to Alabama immediately, where, according to her, big-city stuff like this NEVER happens!
“You know what I think? I think you should go home to Greenbow. Alabama!”
For those who might care, they still haven’t arrested anyone in connection with that assault at Springvale & Pershing about a month ago. Around ten young men attacked one of my neighbors at 8:30 on a Wednesday night. Like I said before: yeesh!
Indeed a lot… doesn’t sound good. But left her car running at the gas station…. really? seriously?… How many times do people have to be told not to do that?? I know I’ve heard it hundreds of times just how common that crime is…. people are friggin dense
at least its over a two week period and they are making arrests. i live in gaithersburg and stuff like this happens all the time(if not more so). a few weeks ago i saw 10 to 12 drunk hispanics fighting and throwing rocks on the side of north summit ave in olde town( i had to drive around them) . i got out of the car and watched this go on for half an hour before finally one police car drove up and made them leave. there were no arrests and the men simply left . explain to me how in montgomery county rediculous incidents like this can happen when a police station is less than 5 blocks away
Holler back.
