Local supermarkets Giant and Safeway cancelled their search for scabs after settling with the workers’ union on Sunday, WTOP Radio reported.

The tentative settlement quashes hopes that Penguin staffers would earn an income anytime soon.

Tough break, Penguins. Maybe the government’s stimulus payment can feed the Ray’s the Classic fund for a little while. Until then, get busy on these events:
