Tuesday. County councilmember Valerie Ervin (D-5) bats for Silver Spring when she proposes a resolution to take back those extended parking-meter hours. Ervin swings away at 11:00 a.m. in Rockville.

Thursday. Silver Spring’s transportation-management district meeting kicks it at 8:00 a.m. inside Discovery HQ (1 Discovery Pl).

Thursday. The planning board gets a look at the Moda Vista project proposed for Silver Spring Avenue at Fenton Street. It’s the last item on the agenda’s 9:00 a.m. session and goes down at planning board HQ (8787 Georgia Ave).
