I'll keep my fingers crossed for Silver Spring. I'm jonsing to record the first Penguin podcast from NPR's state-of-the-art studio.

The Ripley District in Downtown Silver Spring is just one of several possible sites in downtown and Silver Spring is just one of several possible locations that NPR is reviewing. The process has just started. The County has made no offers and NPR has not been specific about what it needs. It will be the end of the year at the earliest before NPR makes a decision.
