Things are happening in our community - but they only happen because of people so Impact Silver Spring&#039;s effort to recognize these community contributors and its community empowerment graduates was quite uplifting.  Frankie Blackburn, Impact&#039;s Executive Director, received a genuine and spontaneous standing ovation when she took the stage for closing remarks.</description>
