All the beauty, none of the pollen

A new photo exhibit captures the beauty of area gardens without the sneezing and sniffling of allergy season. (View slideshow)

The 17 photos, on display at Adams National Bank (8121 Georgia Ave), are winning entries from Washington Gardener magazine’s first annual photo contest.

The winning shots were chosen from among 500 photos, according to Kathy Jentz, the magazine’s editor and publisher. Josh Taylor, who teaches photography at the Smithsonian Institution, served as judge.

The photos are on display through May 25.
