On Thursday, participating restaurants donate part of your tab to a local charity. Silver Spring’s Asian Bistro, Cubano’s, Red Dog Cafe and Vicino Ristorante Italiano pass along at least 25 percent of your dinner bill to Food and Friends. The nonprofit delivers food and nutrition counseling to area residents living with AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses. Click here for more information.
